Comfort Quilt Ministry
Comfort Quilts are beautiful lap quilts put together by the people of the Church.  The quilts are then given to people on the prayer list or in the hospital or shut-in's as a gift from their Church family.

Some of the squares are embroidered with comforting bible verses which can be helpful when going through a difficult time.

After the sickness has passed the quilt can be a wonderful reminder for the person who received the quilt or their family of the faith that helped them through and a Church family who cares.

The quilts are 41" X 36"

While some handwork is involved in embroidering certain squares, the quilts are assembled and quilted by machine.
Volunteers for this ministry are always needed for looking and buying fabric on sale (for which you will be reimbursed); washing and ironing fabric; curring fabric; hand embroidering squares; assemble quilt tops; baste layers together and machine the quilt.

Anyone can fill these tasts, whether you can sew or not!

All patters, measurements, and materials for both the hand and machine work will be provided.

This is such a valueable and meaningful ministry.  Love and comfort will be cherished by those who receive these wonderful quilts.  Come be a part of it.

Thanks to all who continue to be a part of this wonderful ministry.  We have given away numerous quilts over the years and plan to for many years more.

Prayerfully consider being part of this meaningful ministry as we touch the lives of others.  Please contact us if you would like to be a part of this ministry.
