ONE Worship service/Community Picnic
On Sunday, July 26 we will have ONE Worship service at 10:00am with a community picnic immediately following. We are also inviting the Veterans to join us that day.
250th year celebration T-shirt order form
Brooke and Jon Brown are making and selling shirts for the 250th Anniversary of America, all proceeds will go to the church. If you would like to purchase one or more, then please put your name, number and T-shirt size on the sign-up sheet. The cost is $15/shirt and you can order them until our picnic on July 26.
One Worship service
Starting August 2, we will be having only one worship service that will begin at 9:30am. We are looking forward to being able to worship together as our whole church family.
Wednesday morning Bible Study
We are continuing our Wednesday morning Bible Study. Come on out and enjoy the time while we dive into Isaiah and discuss what we have read. This is a great group of people, and we would love you to be a part of this!
Additional expenses
If you would be willing to pay for one or both items, we would really appreciate it! Just put it in an envelope and mark carpet on the Building fund line or bring it to the office at your earliest convenience.
- 2 new window screens for the parsonage- $39 each- paid in full!!! Thank you!!!
- Parsonage carpet/flooring- $5405 (unexpected expense)- $2595 already paid! Thank you!!!
We will be adding to this list every time we have an additional non-budgeted item come through and marking paid once these items are paid off. Thank you so very much!
Small group gatherings
We are getting together small groups so that Pastor Jung can meet with them on a more personal level. These will take place at people’s houses from the church. There are sign-up sheets for each house, and each includes the host’s name and address. If you could sign up for one of these dates and times, we would really appreciate it.
Junior church
The Junior church is on hiatus for the summer, they will resume in September.
Youth group
The youth group will be taking a hiatus for the summer. They will start up again in September. The mission trip will be July 26-August 1.
June/July Mission
For our June Mission we will be donating items to the Veteran’s Center. Her is a list of needed items:
Juice, coffee (not K pods) Jello/pudding
Condiments Noodles, rice mixes
Pork & Beans Spaghetti Sauce
Canned beef stew Canned meats/chicken/tuna
Chunky soup Canned pasta
Brownie mix Frosting
Granola bars, cookies Crackers, chips
Hygiene items (Men’s body wash, shampoo, deodorant, laundry and dish detergent, toilet paper)
Foodtown or Kroger gift cards
Bedford Farmer’s Market food trucks
July 18– Saucy Slamwich
July 25– Garner’s Hawaiian Shave Ice
Food pantry needs
As of right now we are finding it difficult to get supplies from MCOP (this is the organization where we get wholesale prices), therefore we have had to go out and buy most of the groceries that we use to fill up the food pantry. If you would be willing to buy any of the following products we would appreciate it.
- Mac & cheese
- Cream of mushroom/chicken soup
- Ramen noodles
- Misc. soups
- Side dishes- such as Knor side
- Kidney beans/ baked beans
- Canned fruit
- Boxed potatoes and stuffing
- Canned pasta, for example- ravioli
- Jelly
- Spaghetti noodles/ pasta sauce
- Monetary donations if you prefer that we shop
- Kroger rebate
- If you would like to help us out and sign up for this then please do so or ask the office for help in getting this set up. You just need to link our church under community rewards online with your Kroger card.
- Trustees—Cemetery Lots for sale
- The church is in possession of several cemetery lots at Toledo Memorial Park. They are being offered to the congregation at $800 per lot (current price from Toledo Memorial Park is $1200 per lot). If you are interested in purchasing a lot or lots, please contact the office.
