August mission
For many, August means that it’s time to get ready to go back-to-school. While stores around our community engage in their back-to-school sales, we recognize that purchasing school supplies can be difficult for some kids and families within our area. In an attempt to ease some of the burden on these families, LUMC has begun a partnership with Douglas Road Elementary to provide extra supplies to be used to offset some of those costs. The list below contains some of the most needed items as suggested by DRE., let’s do what we can to help out some of the families and children of our community.
dry erase markers
colored pencils
crayons
pencils
markers
Kleenex
Clorox wipes
glue sticks
There will be a bin in the narthex that you can place these items in. Thank you!
