Food pantry needs
As of right now we are finding it difficult to get supplies from MCOP (this is the organization where we get wholesale prices), therefore we have had to go out and buy most of the groceries that we use to fill up the food pantry. If you would be willing to buy any of the following products we would appreciate it.
  • Mac & cheese
  • Cream of mushroom/chicken soup
  • Ramen noodles
  • Misc. soups
  • Side dishes- such as Knor side
  • Kidney beans/ baked beans
  • Canned fruit
  • Boxed potatoes and stuffing
  • Canned pasta, for example- ravioli
  • Jelly
  • Spaghetti noodles/ pasta sauce
  • Monetary donations if you prefer that we shop

  • Kroger rebate
  • Last year we  raised $346.59 just from signing up with your Kroger cards. If you would like to help us out and sign up for this then please do so or ask the office for help in getting this set up.

  • Trustees—Cemetery Lots for sale
  • The church is in possession of several cemetery lots at Toledo Memorial Park.  They are being offered to the congregation at $800 per lot (current price from Toledo Memorial Park is $1200 per lot).  If you are interested in purchasing a lot or lots, please contact the office.

Additional expenses
LUMC has had these unexpected (non-budgeted) cost occurrences, and we are asking if anyone would assist in paying for these in addition to your normal tithing, we also will be putting in extra items that you can donate throughout the year:
Door closer- $160- half: $80- FULLY PAID!!! Thank you!
Hot water heater: $330-half: $165
Data band width overcharge- $67
Rolls or books of stamps- roll=$78, book=$15.60, these can be purchased and dropped off to the church anytime throughout the year (we go through roughly 10 rolls a year). - 2 were already donated!! Thank you!!!
We will be adding to this list every time we have an additional non-budgeted item come through and marking paid once these items are paid off. Thank you so very much!
